Local Area
The Waterfront Precinct is undoubtedly the most sought after holiday location when visiting Darwin. There’s so much to do and it’s literally all at your door step. Take a walk along the precinct and discover the many cafes, specialty shops, coffee stops and wonderful restaurants. Wharf One, Bella Fresh, Hot Tamale, Oyster Bar, Chow, Snapper Rocks… to name many! There’s new day bed furniture and umbrellas supplied by the Darwin Waterfront Corporation. Head down to the grassy area, soak up the atmosphere and lay about the lagoon. It’s safe to swim in and there’s a new climbing water park for all to enjoy. A 10 minute walk up and over the Sky Bridge and you’re at the Smith Street Mall, the heart of the CBD.
